Wolf Eyes

I don't know much about this band other than the fact that they're a noise band. The album I will post for you, Burned Mind, sounds very chaotic and primitive at times, yet they seem more structured than other noise artists. They create a very interesting, destructive sound that left me in awe. Highlights for me were Reaper's Gong, Village Oblivia, and Urine Burn

Paul Chain - Whited Sepulchres

You may recognize Paul Chain's name from being affiliated with early Death SS. He left that band and started working on his own stuff, some traditional doom and a lot of experimentation in his arsenal makes this guy an interesting figure to follow. Anyways, this album, Whited Sepulchres, happens to be one of his more experimental sounding albums. It starts out with the first few tracks being stoner rock jams, the first track being a lengthy 20-some minute jam, with some dabbling with ambience. The last track, however, is completely devoid of any jamming or guitar, just some chants with some sort of industrial/ambient kind of thing and spoken word. Very eery way to end an album like this, but still pretty cool.

3. Traffic
4. Two Minutes
5. Are You Ready?

Green Hearse

Green Hearse - Green Hearse

A long dead band's only album that got dropped by the label, if I got my info right. Another label picked it up and decided to release it via mp3s. I lost the source of those mp3s so I decided to upload and post it here. Sludge metal at its very core with some stonery touches here and there. Good stuff.

2. Lord Cabron
3. Wizard of Cock
4. HMS Teen Bitch
5. Messengers From Phobos

Continuation of the Doomed Scriptures

You may or may not remember my past blog The Scriptures of Doom, you probably won't since it hasn't been updated since November. Anyways, since I've long forgotten the info for that blog, I'll be using this blog as a continuation. Do not expect this blog to be exclusive to doom metal and black metal anymore. I'll be adding different stuff that I have found over time and enjoy to share with the rest of you and mainly just for my archival use. Enjoy.
